On June 11, Todsaporn Pichaiya, Vice President of Chiang Mai University of Thailand, led a delegation of 10 people, including the Dean and Vice Dean of the International Digital Innovation College and the Assistant Dean of the School of Engineering, to visit our university. Vice President Fan Wen met with Vice President Todsaporn Pichaiya in the 1st Lecture Hall of the Faculty and Student Service Hall of Weishui Campus and signed an inter-university cooperation agreement. The main persons in charge of the Office of International Affairs, School of Management and Economics, School of Information, School of Construction Engineering, School of Energy and Electricity, and the Institute of Digital Intelligence attended the meeting.
Vice President Fan Wen first extended a warm welcome to the delegation of Chiang Mai University of Thailand to visit our university, and gave an intruduction of our university in detail from the aspects of its founding history, major settings and characteristics of internationalized running mode, and said that in recent years, our university has carried out active cooperation with Thailand universities in the fields of talent training, teacher training, and cultural exchanges. The signing of the inter-university agreement between the two universities will further deepen the cooperative relationship between the two sides and jointly promote international educational cooperation and exchanges and scientific and technological innovation.
Vice President Todsaporn Pichaiya said that he was very pleased to sign the inter-university cooperation agreement between the two universities today, and thanked and affirmed the efforts of both parties to promote the cooperation between the two universities. He said that the two universities attach great importance to international exchanges and cooperation in running universities, and the signing of the inter-university cooperation agreement marks an important step forward in the exchange of teachers and students and academic cooperation between the two sides, and he wished the two universities fruitful results in the in-depth cooperation in the fields of mutual visits between teachers and students, scientific research and other fields.
At the forum, the main persons in charge of each school gave a brief introduction to their department and had in-depth exchanges with the school leaders of the delegation of Chiang Mai University in Thailand.
After the meeting, the delegation of Chiang Mai University in Thailand visited the History Museum of the University.
