On November 17, the opening ceremony of 2023 Silk Road Education Cooperation and Exchange Conference was held in Xi'an. President Sha Aimin, Vice President Fan Wen, and Vice President-level leader Li Tong of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University(SSRU) were invited to attend the opening ceremony.
At the opening ceremony, Vice President Fan Wen and Vice President-level leader Li Tong of SSRU signed an MOU on behalf of the two universities. According to the MOU, the two parties will strengthen educational resource sharing and cooperation, promote students’ two-way exchanges, reinforce teachers’ scientific research cooperation, deepen the cooperative relationship between the two sides, and promote international education cooperation exchanges and technological innovation in order to promote educational and academic exchanges between schools and commit to high-level international cooperation. All these activities are on the basis of equality and mutual benefit, complementary advantages, mutual cooperation and common development.

During the meeting, President Sha Aimin, andVice President Fan Wen, in company with the heads of Office of the International Cooperation and Exchange, met with Li Tong and his delegation in the meeting room.
Fan Wen said that Chang'an University has always been committed to international development, and has made new achievements in talent cultivation, faculty building and internationalization of scientific research, which has provided important intellectual support for the development of CHD's career, and hoped that the signing of the cooperation agreement would be an opportunity to take the specific project cooperation as a start, to continuously strengthen the cooperation and exchange of the two universities and to promote the establishment of a more intimate cooperative relationship between the two universities.
Li Tong said that CHD and SSRU are both high-level universities with rich historical accumulation, solid professional foundations and outstanding characteristics and advantages, and the two universities have similar disciplines and specialties, and broad prospects for cooperation. He hoped to launch cooperation between the two universities in related fields as soon as possible and gradually promote all-round and deep exchanges and cooperation between the two universities.
During the meeting, the head and the teacher representatives of the Department of Physical Education had an in-depth discussion on relevant majors to carry out cooperation in running schools and joint training programs for students.
