In order to further promoting the exchanges and cooperation between Chang'an University (CHD) and other high-level universities. President of CHD, Sha Aimin,and president of Kuzbass State Technical University (KuzSTU), Yakovlev Alexei Nikolayevich; on behalf of the two universities, signed an inter-university cooperation agreement on October 11th.
According to the agreement, the two parties will strengthen educational resource sharing and cooperation, promote students’two-way exchanges,reinforce teachers'scientific research cooperation, deepen the cooperative relationship between the two sides, and promote international education cooperation exchanges and technological innovation in order to promote educational and academic exchanges between schools and commit to high-level international cooperation. All these activities are on the basis of equality and mutual benefit, complementary advantages, mutual cooperation and common development.
Founded in 1950, KuzSTU is located in the Russia. It is not only a high-level research university, but also an important professional training and scientific research base of energy resource industry in Russia. KuzSTU has a strong faculty with more than 30 leading scientists, including members of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, the Russian Academy of Mining Sciences, and the Russian Academy of Ecology. In the Forbes 2020 World University Rankings, KuzSTU was ranked among the 100 best universities in Russia, also 16th among 136 Russian universities of science and technology. KuzSTU has more than 10 laboratories of various national or regional levels. More than 20 innovation centers and authoritative scientific institutions have been built in KuzSTU.
