On the morning of July 3, Professor Andrew J Deeks, President of the University of Dublin, Ireland, was invited to visit our university. President Sha Aimin expressed his warm welcome to President Andrew J Deeks' first visit and expressed his gratitude to President Andrew J Deeks for his support in furthering the cooperation between the two universities. He introduced the development of the university to the guests and highlighted the basic situation of the university's internationalization. He pointed out that the two universities have carried out continuous and in-depth exchanges over the years, strengthened extensive and in-depth cooperation, and achieved iconic results. In particular, last year, the Sino-foreign cooperative education project between the two universities successfully launched and completed the first enrollment, and the enrollment results exceeded expectations. It produced a good social response. He said that the achievement of these achievements is mainly based on the deep international cooperation between the two sides. The key lies in the long-term cooperation between the two sides. In the future, the university will, as always, fully promote the cooperation and exchanges between the two universities in the fields of joint training of talents, mutual visits of teachers, and cooperation in scientific research. At the same time, we will further build a model of cooperation between the two universities. On the basis of the existing Sino-foreign cooperative education projects, we will strive to apply for a Chinese and foreign Cooperative educational institutions, I hope that the University of Dublin can also give more support and help.

He pointed out that the cooperation between the two universities has had a solid foundation and achieved remarkable results. Especially since the bid for the Sino-foreign cooperative education project between the two universities, the cooperation between the two universities has become closer. He said that the University of Dublin cherishes the cooperation with our university and attaches great importance to the Sino-foreign cooperation in the two universities. Thanks very much to the strong support given by our university in the process of promoting and implementing the cooperative university project. He hopes that through the in-depth development of the project, it will lay the foundation for the bidding of Chinese-foreign cooperative education institutions, provide more opportunities for deepening the cooperation between the two universities, and vigorously promote the in-depth cooperation between the two universities in the fields of teacher-student exchange, cooperation in running universities, scientific research, etc. The university established a deeper and closer relationship.
