On the afternoon of May 25th, 2018, Filaretov Gennady, Professor of Communications of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Academician of the Russian Metrology Academy, Moscow Institute of Power, Academician of Russian Academy of Metrology, Deputy Director of the Russian Federation Collaborative Innovation and Development Center Zhitkov Anatoly, Professor of Lifelong Moscow Institute of Automation, Automation A four-member delegation led by the Institute of Computing Technology, Boblyakov Alexander, were invited to visit Chang’anuniversity. Deputy Secretary Sha Aimin met with the visitors at the VIP Hall of the Academic Exchange Center of the School's headquarters. The headof International Cooperation and Exchange Office, the Social Science Office and the principal of the Electronic Control Academy accompanied the meeting.

Deputy Secretary Sha Aimin expressed his welcome to Academician Filaretov's visit to Chang'an University again and introduced the development of Chang’an university from the aspects of academic characteristics, scientific research, and international cooperation and exchanges. He pointed out that the “Belt and Road” initiative has brought unprecedented opportunities for the international development of universities. The school attaches great importance to the exchanges and cooperation with higher education institutions and scientific research institutions in Russia and other countries along the “Belt and Road” initiative. It is currently in the Sino-Russian cultural exchange mechanism. Under the framework, the 4th China-Russia Transport University Presidents Forum was held and the China-Russia Transit University International Technology Transfer Center was established to provide a stable platform for cooperation between the transportation universities of China and Russia. It is hoped that this visit by Filaretov's academicians will continue to deepen the implementation of the cooperation between the two universities and will continue to promote mutual understanding and friendly cooperation between Chinese and Russian universities.
Academician Filaretov expressed his sincere gratitude to the warm hospitality of Chang’an university. He briefly introduced the basic situation of the Moscow Institute of Power and made suggestions on the cooperation of students in the two universities, collaborative research and other areas of cooperation. He said that he greastly agrees with the idea of deputy secretary Sha Aimin on the work of internationalization and further deepen the concept of cooperation between the two universities. Moscow Power Institute attaches great importance to cooperation with Chang'an University and is committed to implementing and advancing the consensus reached between the two universities. Moscow Institute of Power is willing to work together with Chang'an University to promote the continued prosperity of cooperation and exchange between universities in China and Russia.
