CHD and NUST Pakistan Signed Cooperation Agreement

On April 8, 2018, Deputy Secretary Sha Aimin and Vice President Asif Raza signed the cooperation agreement between the two universities respectively on behalf of Chang'an University and National University of Science and Technology, Pakistan.

According to the agreement, to promote the education and academic exchanges between the two universities on the basis of equality and mutual benefit, complementary advantages, mutual cooperation and common development, the two sides will establish and develop cultivation of talents, staffs exchange, research and jointly organize seminar cooperation and exchange, and encourage experts, scholars and students from both universities to carry out academic exchanges. Both sides will promotes academic teams that has cooperated between the two universities to continue to deepen the cooperation and jointly promote the "Belt and Road" and technological innovation by educational cooperation and exchanges.

National University of Science and Technology (NUST), founded in 1981, is one of the best universities in Pakistan.with 4 campuses and its main campus is located in Islamabad. The school is known for its civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, and information engineering. It has made significant contributions to Pakistan’s infrastructure, industrial development, aviation, military engineering, and other fields. It has won many awards from Pakistan Engineering Committee such as gold medals, silver medals and other rewards. The university is ranked 400st in the QS World University Rankings in 2018 and 91st in Asian universities.
