Professor Yoon Myeong Sook, Vice President of Chonbuk National University, visited Chang’an universi

On July 31^st 2017, Professor Yoon Myeong Sook, Vice President of Chonbuk National University, visited Chang’an university. Vice President Zhao Junhai welcomed the guests at the Academic Exchange Center, accompanied by heads of the International Office and Korean professor Mr. Zhang Zhongxue.

Vice President Zhao Junhai extended his warm welcome to the arrival of Professor Yoon Myeong Sook and briefly introduced the college from the perspectives of school size, characteristic of subjects, and cultivation of talents. Also, he introduced international exchanges in detail. He hoped that through this visit, both parties can further the cooperation in every field based on previous cooperation. And the two parties can have new breakthroughs in staff and students exchanges, scientific research and etc.

Vice President Yoon Myeong Sook expressed her appreciation for the reception and briefly introduced recent development of Chonbuk National University. Then she highly endorsed Vice President Zhao's idea about long-term cooperation plan. She also hoped that the two universities could further cooperation in more fields and promote closer collaborations.

 Chonbuk National University is one of the 10 national flag universities in Korea. It is located in the city of Jeonju in Southern Korea, occupying an area of 1,300,000 square meters, one of the largest universities in Korea. The university has two postgraduate schools, 14 colleges, 22 departments, 36 programs. It ranks 97^th in Asia by QS.
