On the morning of December twelfth 2016, the Professor Appointment Ceremony for Prof. Asad Jan Khattak was held at the Guest Hall the Academic Exchange Center. Zhao Xiangmo, Vice President of Chang'an University participated in the appointment ceremony and gave a speech. The appointment ceremony was officiated by the Director of the Personnel Division, Hui Jizhang.
Vice President Zhao Xiangmo issued a professor appointment certificate to Asad Jan Khattak, and welcomed Professor Asad Jan Khattak on behalf of Chang’ an University. Vice President Zhao pointed out that Prof. Asad Jan Khattak is a well-known expert in the field of intelligent transportation. His participation will lead our university to be in line with international standards and enhance the visibility and influence of our university in the field of intelligent transportation. Vice President Zhao asked the School of Information Engineering to create good working conditions for Prof. Asad Jan Khattak, set up a research platform, assist in team building and care about the living conditions of Professor Asad Jan Khattak. He wish Prof. Asad Jan Khattak to make full use of his strengths and creativity work, and to set up a high-level innovation team to contribute to the construction of disciplines, talents and scientific research.
Song Huansheng, Dean of School of Information Engineering, introduced Prof. Asad Jan Khattak's basic information, research fields, achievements and academic achievements. He also said that he would do his utmost to support the work and provide good working and living conditions for Prof. Asad Jan Khattak.
Professor Asad Jan Khattak in his speech thanked the university for their concern and support, and he will cooperate in the future with Chang' an University from the teaching aspect and scientific research, personnel training, laboratory construction, to improve our university intelligent traffic discipline reputation in the international arena.
