Recently, the evaluation of “the Programme of Introducing Talents of Discipline to Universities” (project 111) which was jointly implemented by Ministry of Educationand State Foreign Expert Bureau in the year of 2017 was finished in a satisfactory way. Evaluating by experts group and the Experts Committee of “project 111”, the base of innovative intelligence exchanging in our university about “The Base of Special Regional Highway Engineering Sustainable Development Subject Innovation Introduction” lead by professor Sha Aimin was allowed to set up. This is a new added base of innovative intelligence exchanging of “project 111” of our university this year.The project of “The Base of Special Regional Highway Engineering Sustainable Development Subject Innovation Introduction” lead by professor Sha Aimin is based on the Road and Railway Engineering National Key Disciplines of our university, and relied on the key laboratory of Ministry of Education as well as the key laboratory of transportation industry and other platform of scientific research, combined the national key fields` innovative team of our university, converged more than tenfirst-rate internationalscholars that come from US, Canada, German, French ,Singapore and so on. This project has formed first-rate international research team and aimed at the state`s requirement in Highway traffic fields, focused on the international frontier of highway engineering, and to solve major theoretical and application issues of China's special regional highway construction and conservation of sustainable development and the western region of China's security, stability and development and national development strategy for the full implementation of technical support and intellectual support. The set up and construct of “The Base of Special Regional Highway Engineering Sustainable Development Subject Innovation Introduction” will further enhance our university’s research and innovation capacity and international influence and promote the construction of the high-level university and first-class disciplines.
“The Programme of Introducing Talents of Discipline to Universities” (project 111) which is jointly implemented by Ministry of Educationand State Foreign Expert Bureau , is aim to advance the process of building a world-class university in China's higher education institutions." project 111" aims at the forefront of the development of international disciplines and is based on the national key disciplines, introduce and convergence more than 1000 talents from the world's top 100 universities and research institutions of the advantages of the discipline team to form high-level research team and build about 100 world class discipline innovation talent recruitment base. And strive to create scientific and technological achievements with international influence, enhance the international competitiveness of disciplines, and improve the overall level and international status of higher education institutions.
