The Delegation of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Were Invited To 　Visit Chang’ an University

On the November 21^st2016, the delegation led by the Prof. Evangelos Livieratos, Former Minister of Environment and Energy of Greece and Professor of Aristotle University were invited to visit our university, Vice President Zhao Junhai welcomed the guests at the Guest Hall in the Academic Exchange Center, accompanied by Jiang Zaiwen ,the director of International Office , and Prof. Fan Wen, the dean of the School of the Geological Engineering and the Surveying and Mapping.

Vice President Zhao expressed a warm welcome to the arrival of the delegation led by the Prof. Evangelos Livieratos and gave a brief introduction of Chang’ an University on the school history, campus distribution, education scale, characteristic of disciplines, highlighted on the situation of our university's participation in the national large-scale infrastructure construction, and the general situation of our university's foreign exchange. He pointed out that Chang’ an University pay a great attention to the cooperation and exchanges with foreign universities and hoped that through this visit of Prof. Evangelos Livieratos to accelerate the in-depth cooperation between the two schools, as soon as possible to promote comprehensive cooperation between the two schools signed the agreement on the basic of teachers exchange and cooperation research with Aristotle University.

Prof. Evangelos Livieratos expressed his gratitude to the warm reception of our university and briefly introduced the development of Aristotle University and the basic information of International Exchange. He fully agreed with Vice President Zhao Junhai on the basic concept of cooperation between the two universities and though that the two universities have a wide range of cooperation and broad prospects for cooperation. He will timely feedback to the university the consensus reached by the visit and as soon as possible to promote the establishment of all-round cooperation partnership between the two sides.
