On September 21st2016 ,Professor Fan Guoqing，director of the Institute of Information and Motor of Taiwan's Central University and the delegation visited Chang’an University on invitation. The Vice President of Chang’an University, Professor Zhao Junhai welcomed Professor Robert F. Cox in the Guest Hall of the Academic Centre with hospitality, accompanied by the directors of the International Office, School of Electronics and Control and School of Information Engineering.
Vice President Zhao Junhai expressed a warm welcome to the arrival of Professor Fan Guoqing and gave a brief introduction to the university from the foreign exchange and cooperation development ,especially the cooperation situation of our university and Taiwan universities .The vice-president Zhao Junhai reviewed the teachers' visits, exchanges and cooperation of students ,scientific research and other aspects of cooperation for many years of our university and the Central University. He pointed that Chang’an University always attached importance to the cooperation and exchanges with the Central University , has carried out a lot of substantive work and achieved fruitful results. He said that the two schools have a solid foundation for cooperation, hope that with the visit of Professor Fan Guoqing as an opportunity and a breakthrough point, the exchange and cooperation with Chang’ an University on various aspects could be expanded and a closer relationship of cooperation could be built.
Professor Fan Guoqing expressed sincere gratitude to the warm reception and briefly introduced the discipline features and faculty, the development disciplines and international cooperation and exchanges of the Institute of Information and Motor of Taiwan's Central University He showed his total agreements with Vice President Zhao Junhai on the basic idea of cooperation between the two universities and he would convey the cooperation consensus reached by this visiting in time to promote the establishment of the comprehensive cooperative partnership between two schools. He hoped that through the signing of cooperation agreements, the two universities could achieve substantive cooperation and exchanges.And he pointed that through joint training of students, promoting more cooperation and exchanges between the two schools teachers, build atmosphere and solid foundation for the all-round cooperation, to put the two schools of cooperation to a new height.
After the meeting, Professor Wang Guiping, dean of School of Electronics and Control and Professor Song Huansheng, dean of School of Information Engineering on behalf of the school signed cooperation agreements with the Central University. Professor visited Information college laboratory and had a detailed discussion about the cooperation. After that, the delegation discussed widely with School of Electronics and Control and School of Information Engineering on cooperation matters.
