Recently, President Ma Jian of Chang’ an University and President José Tadeu Jorge of Universidade Estadual de Campinas signed MOU between the two Universities.
According to the agreement, in order to promote educational and academic exchanges, both sides will initiate cooperation and communication in the fields of faculty and student exchange, cooperation in scientific research on the basis of equality and mutual benefit, complementary advantages, mutual cooperation and common development. In order to deepen cooperation in co-organizing international conferences, jointly establish engineering laboratories, both sides will establish and carry out a comprehensive, long-term and stable cooperative partnership.
There are half undergraduates and half graduates in Universidade Estadual de Campinas. Universidade Estadual de Campinas has the highest ratio of graduate students in Brazil. Universidade Estadual de Campinas ranks the second in Brazil after Sao Paulo University. It ranked the 195th in the 2015-2016 QS World University Rankings. There are a number of the world-class disciplines. For example, its Environmental Studies, Electronic Control Engineering, Computer Science and Technology ranked 51st, Department of Civil and Structural Engineering ranked 101st in the 2015-2016 QS World University Rankings by Subjects.
