On July 30th2016,President Li Binggan of Feng Chia University visited Chang ‘an University . President Ma Jian welcomed President Li Binggan in the Guest Hall of the Academic Centre with hospitality, accompanied by the Deputy President Zhao Junhai, the directors of the Development Planning Department Du Zhimin, the related officials of International Affairs Office Jiang Zaiwen and the School of Construction Engineering.
President Ma Jian expressed a warm welcome to the arrival of President Li Binggan and gave a brief introduction to the university from the university history, the characteristics of subjects , the talent training and the foreign exchange and cooperation development . He pointed out that Chang’an University is a comprehensive university with distinctive features and provides important intellectual support for the national infrastructure construction. And he mentioned that continuing to highlight the characteristics of the school and strengthening international cooperation and exchanges, make full use of high-quality resources at home and abroad and constantly enhance the level of school is an important measure to implement the internationalization strategy of Chang’an University.He also reviewed the cooperation process on the teachers' visits, student exchanges, scientific researchcooperation between Chang’an University and Feng Chia University. He said the visit of President Li Binggan as an opportunity for the deep cooperation and communication between the two universities on the existing cooperation foundation for the faculty visit, student exchanges.
President Li Binggan expressed sincere gratitude to the warm reception and appreciatedthe achievements of Chang ‘an University on the talent cultivation, discipline construction, and the service sector, serving local construction, serve the society. He also expressed his agreements with President Ma Jian on the basic ideas about the cooperation between the two universities and gave a brief introduction to Feng Chia University from aspects of the characteristic of the subjects ,the concept of talent development and the foreign exchange and cooperation development. He pointed out that the two universities has a general consensus on cooperation and broad cooperation space and hoped that the two universities can further deepen cooperation on the basis existing cooperation and communication, to put the two universities ’ cooperation to a new height
After the meeting, President Ma Jian and President Li Binggan signed Student Joint-Education Agreements .Subsequently, President Li Binggan visited the our school campus and sand table model accompanied by the Deputy President Zhao Junhai.
