On March 13th, 2016, the Dean of the school of Engineering in Khon Kean University Thailand, Professor Apirat Siritaratiwat, and the delegation visited Chang’an University, the vice president Zhao Junhai had a meeting with the visiting guests in the Guest Hall of Academic Exchanging Center with hospitality, accompanied by director of the International Cooperation Office.
The vice president Zhao Junhai expressed a warm welcome to the arrival of Professor Apirat and gave brief introduction to the university from the aspects of the education scale, the characteristic of the subjects and the cultivation of the talents. He pointed that Chang’An University is a comprehensive university with distinctive features, the collaboration with other educational institutions is highly valued, and we have succeeded in cooperation with oversea universities in various ways. Under the guide of the “A Belt and A Road” Tactics, Chang’An University pays more attention to the cooperation with the universities in Southeast Asia. Fortunately, with this opportunity, both parties would have a further understanding about each other, build a stronger relation and accelerate the potential collaboration.
Professor Apirat showed sincere gratitude toward the warm reception, and present a brief introduction to Khon Kean University and its global development. He agreed with Vice President Zhao Junhai on the proposal of long-term cooperation project. The purpose of this meeting, according to Professor Apirat, is to discuss about the cooperation plans and projects, feed back the information, and establish the cooperation between the two universities as soon as possible.
