On January 19th 2016, Professor Liu Pei, director of the Cross-strait affairs of Taiwan Feng Chia University and the delegation visited Chang’an University on invitation. Vice President Zhao Junhai had a meeting with Professor Liu Pei in the Guest Hall of the Academic Centre, accompanied by directors of Hong Kong，Macao and Taiwan Office and Highway School.
Vice President Zhao Junhai extended a warm welcome to Professor Liu Pei and presented a brief introduction to the basic information about our university as well as university internationalization development from the perspectives of school size, discipline features, talents training and many more.
He also reviewed the cooperation process between Chang’an University and Feng Chia University. He said the visit of Professor Liu Pei and the delegation would lay a solid foundation for the deep cooperation and communication between the two universities. Based on the existing collaboration, he hoped both parties would furtherly deepen the cooperation areas, and try to achieve a new breakthrough especially in the student exchange, faculty visit, and joint research.
Professor Liu Pei expressed sincere gratitude to the warm reception, He reviewed about the visit of Vice President Zhao Junhai to Feng Chia University in the year 2013, and pointed out that since the signing of cooperation agreements, the two universities have achieved fruitful results in faculty visit and student exchange. The school delegation's visit marks the cooperation between the two universities has stepped into a new stage. He hopes that on the foundation of the current cooperation, the exchange and cooperation with Chang’ an University on various aspects could be expanded and a closer relationship of cooperation could be built.
