Professor Mark Richardson, Vice President of University College Dublin Visited Chang’an University

On January 8th 2016, Professor Mark Richardson, Vice President of University College Dublin in Ireland visited Chang’an University on invitation. Vice President Zhao Junhai welcomed Professor Richardson in the Guest Hall of the Academic Centre with hospitality, accompanied by directors of the International Cooperation Office and Highway School.

 

Vice President Zhao Junhai extended a warm welcome to Professor Richardson and presented a brief introduction to the basic information about our university as well as international exchanging education involving school size, discipline features, talents training and many more.

 

Professor Richardson expressed sincere gratitude to the warm reception, and briefly introduced the recent development of internationalization in University College Dublin. The long-standing cooperation program between Dublin University and Chang’An University raised by vice president Zhao Junhai was greatly approved by Professor Richardson. Based on the existing foundation of collaboration, he hoped there will soon be more cooperation and interaction in our discipline fields which will be able to create an atmosphere and reinforcement for the deep-seated and multi-field collaboration, and strive to build up and maintain a closer relationship between the two universities.
