Professor Zheng Zansheng, President of Chung Hua University, Visited Chang’ an University

On November 25, 2015, delegation of four people led by President Zheng Zansheng from Chung Hua University visited Chang’ an University on invitation. President Ma Jian and Vice President Zhao Junhai had a meeting with the honorable guests in the hall of Academic Communication Center. Directors of Development Planning Department, International Cooperation Office and School of Information Engineering attended the meeting.

 

President Ma Jian extended a warm welcome to President Zheng Zansheng, and gave an introduction to Chang’an University from the aspects of university history, campus distribution, discipline features and students scale. He mainly reviewed the cooperation process with Chung Hua University, and said Chang’ an University pays great attention to the collaboration and exchange with universities in Taiwan. He also hoped that with the visit of Zheng Zansheng as an opportunity and the signing of Student Joint-Education Agreements as a breakthrough point, the cooperation in teachers’ visits, students exchanges and scientific research between Chang 'an university and Chung Hua university could be substantially deepened.

 

President Zheng Zansheng expressed sincere gratitude for the warm reception and introduced the basic situation of Chung Hua University. He highly appreciates for President Ma Jian’s proposals for long term cooperation between the two universities and said that both sides have a lot in common on discipline characteristics. He hopes with the startup of the Students Joint-Education project as a foundation, exchanges and cooperation with Chang’ an University on various aspects could be accelerated.

 

After the meeting, President Ma Jian and President Zheng Zansheng signed Student Joint-Education Agreements in the No.1 Conference Room. Subsequently, President Zheng Zansheng visited the laboratory of School of Information Engineering.
