On the morning of October 15, 2015, professor Predrag Pega Stojan Hrnjak, chairman of the International Association of Ammonia Refrigeration the ammonia refrigeration , director of air conditioning and refrigeration center of the university of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign visited Chang’an University. Vice President Zhao Junhai had a meeting with the honorable guest in guest hall of Academic Communication Center. Directors of International Cooperation Office and School of Environmental Science and Engineering attended the meeting.
Vice President Zhao Junhai gave an introduction to Chang’an University from the aspects of university history, campus distribution and discipline features with the emphasis on the historical development of the construction of highway traffic, land and resources, the development of urban and rural construction.
After the review of cooperation and communication with the university of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, he pointed out that the two universities have similar opinions and great potential in collaboration. He hoped that both sides would take this visit as an opportunity, focusing on student exchange, further broadening the field of cooperation and communication between the two sides, eventually promoting the establishment of a comprehensive cooperative relations between the two universities.
Professor Predrag Pega Stojan Hrnjak expressed sincere gratitude for the warm reception of Chang’an University, and highly appreciated for Vice President Zhao Junhai’s proposals for student’s exchanges and cooperation between the two universities. He hoped the two universities could further broaden cooperation channels, strive for more cooperation opportunity, and promote all-round cooperation of the students’ exchanges in various fields.
