From July 2nd to July 9th, 2015, Headmaster Ma Jian paid visits to State Geographical and Prospecting University in Russia, Rey Juan Carlos University in Spain on invitation from headmasters of the two universities.
During the visit to State Geographical and Prospecting University in Russia, headmaster B. И. Lisow met the delegation of Chang’an University lead by Headmaster Ma Jian. In the welcome meeting, headmaster B. И. Lisow firstly warmly welcomed the visit of guests from Chang’an University and remembered of many details of his visit to Chang’an University last year. Then he gave a brief introduction to State Geographical and Prospecting University. Finally he hoped that State Geographical and Prospecting University and Chang’an University could forward an all-round substantial cooperative relation on the basis of signed cooperative agreement between the two universities last year. Headmaster Ma Jian thanked for the hospitality of headmaster B. И. Lisow and gave a brief introduction to Chang’an University. After exchanging ideas about student joint nurturing programs, visits of faculty, cooperation in research and information sharing, jointly building up laboratories, jointly building up geographical museum, etc., headmasters of these two universities reached a broad agreement. After the meeting, the joint nurturing student programs and sub-agreement of mutual visits of faculties were reached. And headmaster B. И. Lisow conferred headmaster Ma Jian an Honorary Professor of State Geographical and Prospecting University.
During the visit, the delegation lead by headmaster Ma Jian had a tour of the campus history exhibition, academic center, laboratory and geographical museum in State Geographical and Prospecting University. Executive Vice Headmaster, other two vice headmasters in charge of foreign affairs, student affairs and all members of Academic Committee of State Geographical and Prospecting University, Director of University Office and Director of International Cooperation and Exchange Department of Chang’an University attended the meeting and the ceremony of signing agreements between Chang’an University and State Geographical and Prospecting University.
During the visit to Rey Juan Carlos University in Spain, Executive Vice Headmaster Juan Antonio Melero Hernández on behalf of Headmaster Fernando Suárez Bilbaomet met delegation from Chang’an University lead by Headmaster Ma Jian. Firstly, he warmly welcomed the visit of delegation from Chang’an University. Then he gave a brief introduction to Rey Juan Carlos University and hoped that some substantial communications and cooperation could be taken between Chang’an University and Rey Juan Carlos University. Santiago Romo Urroz, Director of Science and Technology Innovation Center, gave a brief introduction to the science research and basic information of science and technology transformation of Rey Juan Carlos University. Headmaster Ma thanked for their hospitality and gave a brief introduction to Chang’an University. Then he had an in-depth discussion with Juan Antonio Melero Hernández and reached a broad agreement on visits of faculties, students exchange, cooperation in research and information sharing and jointly building up laboratories, etc. Both parties agreed that a broad cooperation could be established on the basis of similar research spheres between the two universities. And both believed that cooperation between the two universities would motivate their mutual development. After the meeting, the all-round cooperation agreements were signed.

Director of Science and Technology Innovation Center, Director of International Affairs, Professor of Environmental Science Faculty, Administrator of International Programs of Rey Juan Carlos University and Director of University Office, Director of International Cooperation and Exchange Department attended the meeting and the ceremony of signing agreements.
