On Jan. 21st 2015, Vice President Byoung-Kwan KIM and the delegation of Ajou University visited Chang’an University on invitation. Chairman Du Xiangmin and President Ma Jian had meetings with the honorable guests respectively. Vice President Zhao Junhai, directors of President Office, Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, School of Information Engineering, and Korean Professor Jang Jong Hag attended the meeting.
Chairman Du Xiangmin warmly welcomed the visit of the delegation of Ajou University and happily recalled his last visit to Ajou University. He indicated that he was impressed by the developed managing principle and effective organization management, and hoped that an all-round partnership would soon be established through this visit. Vice President Byoung-Kwan KIM agreed on the constructive suggestion Chairman Du Xiangmin had put up to carry out substantial cooperation and exchange, and indicated that Ajou University would push forward the collaboration between the two universities together with Chang’an University. He expressed his Thanks for the warm meeting.
President Ma Jian had a meeting with the Korean guests in Guest Hall of Academic Exchange Center. President Ma Jian gave an introduction of the various campuses and the construction of the new Weishui campus, with the emphasis on Chang’an University’s internationalization strategy. He points out that Chang’an University pays a great deal of attention to the development of internationalization, and nowadays it is actively expanding the depth of international cooperation and exchange, in order to build up a new stage of all-round international collaboration. President Ma Jian says that Chang’an University and Ajou University have similar objectives in the development of internationalization, and he believes that through the cooperation and exchange between the two universities, both parties can learn from it the successful experiences.
After the meeting, Vice President Zhao Junhai and Vice President Byoung-Kwan KIM signed the Dual Degree Agreements in Undergraduate Students on behalf of Chang’an University and Ajou University respectively. Afterwards, Vice President Byoung-Kwan KIM had a tour on the sand table and laboratory of School of Information Engineering, accompanied by Vice President Zhao Jun Hai.
