When you come to our school, either to pursue an undergraduate geology concentration or to join one of our 2 graduate programs(Master and PhD.). We offer graduate degrees in Geology, Mineral Resource and Geological Engineering. And we offer undergraduate majors in Applied Geology and Mineral Resource Exploration Engineering.

There are over 130 faculty and staff members in our School supporting our mission of research and teaching. More than 50 faculties have oversea study experiences. Teaching staff includes 1 full-time academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, 2 part-time academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, 35 professors in which 8 of them have national talent title, 4 of them have provincial talent title and 44 associate professors.

The laboratory for mineralization and dynamics at our school is dedicated to cutting edge research in ore-forming processes and mineral exploration using geochemical and mineralogical analyses and provides education and re-search facility training for graduate and undergraduate students.
