CHU and The University of Western Timisoara in Romania Signed An Inter-school Cooperation Agreement

In order to further promote the exchange and cooperation between our school and universities in Central and Eastern European countries, our president Sha Aimin and Marilen Gabriel PIRTEA, president of The University of Western Timisoara in Romania, signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement on behalf of the two schools.


According to the agreement, in order to promote inter-school education and academic exchanges, we are committed to the cultivation of high-level international talents and scientific research. The two sides will deeply integrate the advantages of both disciplines on the basis of equality and mutual benefit, complementary advantages, mutual cooperation and common development To carry out various forms of joint Chinese-foreign training for students, promote normalized teacher exchange visits and exchanges, promote extensive cooperative research in the field of cooperation, continue to deepen cooperation between the two sides, and jointly promote international educational cooperation and exchanges and technological innovation.


The University of Western Timisoara in Romania is located in Timisoara, the largest city in western Romania. Founded in 1962, it is the top well-known university in Romania. It has 11 faculties and more than 16,000 students. The school ranks 201-250 in the Times Higher Education Emerging Economies University and QS World University's latest ranking is 801-1000. In the QS World University Discipline Ranking, modern linguistics ranks 150-200, and physics ranks 301-400.
