On the June 6th2016, invited by the “111 Project on Information of Vehicle-Infrastructure Sensing and ITS”, Prof. Jose Balbo of the University of Sao Paulo, Prof. Theuns Henning, director of Traffic Research Center of University of Auckland, Prof. Emanuele Toraldo, director of Road Research Laboratory of University of Milan, Italy and the Prof. Ningyuan Li of University of Waterloo, Canada visited our university for access and academic exchange, and Vice President Zhao Xiangmo welcomed the guests at the Guest Hall in the Academic Exchange Center, accompanied by the director of International Office and the School of Information Engineering.
Vice President Zhao expressed a warm welcome to the arrival of the delegation led by Prof. Jose Balbo and gave a brief introduction of our university from the campus scale, characteristic of disciplines, talent training and the situation of the international cooperation and exchanges on the related field. He Hoped that through the visit of the delegation led by Prof. Jose Balbo we can promote the communication and cooperation on related disciplines. The delegation led by Prof. Jose Balbo also introduced the basic situation of their university and the willing to cooperate with our university in the related field of scientific research and personnel training.
After the meeting, the delegation led by Prof. Jose Balbo visited the laboratory of the School of Information Engineering, and made an academic report for the teachers and students of the School of Information Engineering.
