On October 15, 2018, Paul Fanning, Vice President of the University of Dublin, Ireland, and his party were invited to visit our school. Sha Aimin, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the University, met with visitors in the VIP room of the Academic Exchange Center. Deputy Secretary Sha Aimin welcomed the visit of Vice President Paul Fanning and the opening ceremony of the 2018 freshmen of the Sino-foreign cooperative education project of the two universities, and conveyed the concern and expectation of President Chen Feng on the cooperation between the two universities. He pointed out that the sincere cooperation between the two universities has achieved fruitful results. At the beginning of this year, the Sino-foreign cooperative education project between the two universities was officially approved by the Chinese Ministry of Education, and the enrollment work was successfully completed for the first time, marking the cooperation between the two universities to move higher. stage. He expressed his gratitude to the University of Dublin for his hard work in the promotion and implementation of the cooperative education project. He hoped to continue to expand and deepen the cooperation and exchanges between the two universities in the fields of joint training of talents, mutual visits of teachers, and cooperation in scientific research. Deputy Secretary Sha Aimin said that the school will fully support teachers and students to exchange and study at the University of Dublin. I hope that the University of Dublin can also give more support and help to the school.

 

Vice-President Paul Fanning expressed gratitude for the warm reception of our school and expressed high support for the cooperation ideas put forward by Deputy Secretary Sha Aimin. He pointed out that the cooperation between the two universities has had a solid foundation and achieved remarkable results. Especially since the bid to host the Sino-foreign cooperative education projects of the two universities in the past two years, the cooperation between the two universities has become closer. He said that the University of Dublin attaches great importance to the Sino-foreign cooperative education projects of the two universities. It is hoped that through the in-depth cooperation of the two projects, more opportunities will be brought to the cooperation and exchange between the teachers and students of the two universities, and more Changan University teachers and students are welcome to visit the University of Dublin. After the meeting, Vice President Paul Fanning and his party held talks with the International Office and the Highway College to discuss the in-depth implementation of the Sino-foreign cooperative education project and the further expansion of the project.
